The workshop "Human rights culture"

On the morning of August 15, 2023, the VNU University of Law held a workshop on "Human rights culture". 

 

 

The workshop included the participation of leading scholars in the field of human rights such as Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dang Dung (former Vice Dean of the VNU School of Law), A.Prof.Dr. Chu Hong Thanh (Former Director of the Legal Affairs Department - Ministry of Education and Training), Prof. Dr. Vo Khanh Vinh (Former Vice President of Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences), A.Prof.Dr. Trinh Tien Viet (Vice Rector of the VNU University of Law), Assoc.Prof.Dr. Vu Cong Giao (Director of the Center for Human and Citizen's Rights - the VNU University of Law), ...

 

 

Speaking at the opening of the workshop, “Human rights culture is a multidimensional concept that describes values, attitudes, and practices related to the protection and promotion of human rights. Building a human rights culture requires respect for all without distinction of ethnicity, religion, gender, age, or any other factor. Today's workshop serves as a forum to bring together scholars with similar interests on this broad topic" Assoc.Prof.Dr. Trinh Tien Viet said. At the end of the speech, the Vice Rector expected the workshop a great success.
